Show Off Your Bright Smile With This DIY Whitening Toothpaste

Due to highly staining drinks such as coffee or black tea, your teeth might tend to darken or have visible spots. Whitening your teeth is always an option. However, a professional whitening could get quite expensive as we all know. Furthermore, besides being really expensive, I could not also stand the chemicals that every product contains. Thus, I did some research and started making my own natural whitening toothpaste recipe. I was a bit skeptical at first because it really sounds very simple and easy to make. But since I didn’t have anything to lose, I made and I never turned back to store-bought products. This worked so amazingly that I had to share the recipe with you. Thus, keep reading and see how you can make your own DIY natural whitening toothpaste and proudly show off your bright smile.

Here are the ingredients I used for this natural whitening paste:

– 1/4 cup of baking soda
– 1/3 cup of hydrogen peroxide
– 12 drops of peppermint essential oil.

To make this into a toothpaste, simply mix all the ingredients together. If you choose to make this small amount you can store it in a small ball jar for easier usage. If you go for a larger amount, you could also use a bigger recipient.

For highly visible results, I would recommend brushing your teeth with this mixture for 3 times each week. Make sure you are insisting on the visible darker spots of your teeth and brush for two minutes each time. That’s all there is to it. However, I should not brush your teeth more often because the baking soda can be quite abrasive o your teeth, that’s how you know it will work. It will definitely clean your teeth so there is no need to overdo it.
