Urinary tract infections or cystitis, are triggered by the action of a bacteria on the urinary tract. The main signs of the condition are frequent urination associated with aches or pains. This disease is more common in women, but third-age men are prone to it, too. This type of infection is due to the fact that different microorganisms reach the urinary system, multiply and, over time, lead to changes in the normal functioning of the kidneys and urinary tract.
Apple cider vinegar can help.
This is a rich source of enzymes, potassium and other minerals that prevent bacteria from multiplying. People who have urinary infections can use apple vinegar as a natural antibiotic to treat the infection.
Method of preparation
In a glass of water, add 2 tablespoons of apple vinegar. Stir well. You can also put lemon juice and honey. Drink this mixture three times a day.
Baking soda is an effective treatment, too, to treat urinary tract infections, favoring the appearance of an alkaline environment that destroys bacteria.
In a glass of water add 1 teaspoon of baking soda and drink once a day.
