How To Prepare Your Own Zinc Oxide Sunscreen With SPF 20

If you don’t want like your summer holiday to be a total wreck, you must take a good care of your skin by applying sunscreen on every inch of your body. And if you are one of those people who avoid chemicals and choose natural products then you are on the right webpage.

There’s no need to give up using sunscreen if you are a bio lover, because you can easily prepare your own sunscreen, at home only with natural ingredients.

So, grab the next ingredients and prepare your own sunscreen:

  • 30 g of cocoa butter
  • 20 g of coconut oil
  • 20 g shea butter
  • 18 g of sesame oil
  • 5 g of sea buckthorn oil
  • 5 g of musk rose oil
  • 5 g carrot extract
  • 10 g of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide mixture

Coconut oil blocks the access to dangerous UV rays and leaves the body free to receive vitamin D. In addition, it nourishes the skin intensely. Melt in Bain-Marie the cocoa and shea butter along with the oils. Mix the composition until all the ingredients are melted and it becomes homogenous. Remove the pot off the fire.

When the composition is cooled at room temperature, add the mixture of zinc and titanium along with the carrot extract. Mix very well until you get a homogeneous composition. Pour the cream into a clean container and store it a cool and dark container.

This homemade sunscreen has SPF 20.
