For this recipe, the ingredients you will need are:
– 4 teaspoons of beeswax
– 1 cup of coconut oil
– 4 drops of eucalyptus essential oil
– 5 drops of peppermint essential oil
– 5 drops of lavender essential oil
– 4 oz size mason jars.
Start off by melting the coconut oil with the beeswax in a small saucepan. While doing this, make sure you are careful because it will be very hot when you take it off the stove. To check if it is completely incorporated, stir the mixture.
Next, you can transfer the mixture into the 4 oz mason jar. However, it is going to be very hot so be careful. Then, add the essential oils while stirring gently to mix them well. Lastly, secure the jar with the lid and allow it to cool completely at room temperature.
Finally, you can use it right away! Hence, simply rub your homemade cream into your sore muscles just like you would with any lotion. That’s all. Start off with small amounts and then apply as often as necessary until the pain is gone completely.
