Heel pain is a common foot problem that occurs under the heel or behind it, and, sometimes, it may affect the side of the heel. Heel pain is also known as plantar fasciitis and can be caused by multiple factors such as wearing too tight or improper footwear. In most cases, heel pain is not caused by an injury.
Such pain can also occur due to a wrong body posture during exercise, but also due to calluses and corns that make walking uncomfortable.
However, the pain can be mild at the beginning, but if you don’t treat it immediately, the pain may persists and become chronic.
