How did I get rid of heel pain?

Well, in less than 3 days I was back on my stilettoes again without using over-the-counter topical ointments. I prepared my own ointment and perform some easy exercises for plantar fasciitis.

Vaseline and Cayenne Pepper

As heel pain is often a foot inflammation, then cayenne pepper is the best anti-inflammatory remedy you can use to get rid of it which will soothe and improve the joint mobility.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons of Vaseline
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper powder

How to prepare this homemade analgesic?

  • Put the Vaseline amount in a bowl, and melt it in the microwave for a few seconds, then add the cayenne pepper powder and mix well.

How to use?

  • Wait a bit for the mixture to cool down, and then apply it on the soles. Massage gently for the ointment to penetrate deep into the skin then apply another layer.
  • Repeat this remedy twice a day.
