Garlic soup is a natural remedy used by a lot of people since ancient times. – 25 unpeeled garlic cloves
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– 2 tablespoons of butter
– ½ teaspoon of chili powder
– ½ cup of fresh ginger
– 2 ¼ cups of chopped onion
– 1 ½ teaspoon of freshly chopped thyme
– 25 peeled garlic cloves
– ½ cup of coconut milk
– 3 ½ cups of vegetable soup
– 3 thick lemon slices
Method of preparation:
Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Put the unpeeled garlic cloves on a baking paper and sprinkle olive oil and salt over them. Keep them in the over until they get a golden color and become soft (about 50 minutes).
Mix 2 tablespoons of olive oil with 2 tablespoons of butter and melt it in a small saucepan. Add the onion, thyme, ginger and chilli powder and mix until the onion becomes translucent, for about 6 minutes. Add the peeled garlic cloves and the baked garlic from the oven, and let the preparation to fry for 3 minutes.
Add the vegetable soup and let it boil for about 20 minutes. Then put the whole ingredients in the blender and add the coconut milk and mix. Put the soup again to boil for 10 minutes. And, voila! The wonder-soup is ready to make you feel better in no-time!
