So you can safely turn to these natural remedies to relieve toothaches, but if you have noticed that the problem persists, you should go to a dentist.
Before modern treatments appeared, natural remedies were used successfully, and some of them are used even today in several dental solutions.
Cloves oil is considered one of the most effective natural treatments for soothing toothaches. You can use the oil applied on the painful area or chew cloves, taking care to keep the paste in the painful area.
2. Salt with warm water
Mix 1 tablespoon with warm water and rinse your mouth with this mixture 4 times a day because it has antiseptic effect and helps relieve dental problems. It is especially effective if you have swollen or painful gums.
3. Mint oil
Use internal mint oil, and put a few drops in a glass of warm water, and rinse your mouth frequently. It has a powerful antiseptic effect and kills microorganisms that cause dental problems.
Clean a garlic clove, cut it in half and put it in the painful area. Continue to chew the garlic clove for two minutes so that its juice reaches the painful tooth. If the pain persists, repeat the process once or twice to relieve the pain.
Cut a slice of onion and apply on the painful area. Leave it for a few minutes because it contains substances that kill bacteria which causes dental pains.
6. Ground black pepper
Mix ground pepper with a little salt and water to form a paste. Apply this paste to the painful area and repeat this operation several times for optimal results.
7. Lemon peel
You can buy some organic lemons and grate the peel. Mix the peel with a little salt. You will obtain a mix that you can use to massage gently the painful area.
8. Turmeric paste
Turmeric has a strong anti-inflammatory effect and is recognized as an effective adjuvant in teeth whitening. It is also very useful for irritated gums and mouth infections. That’s why you can use turmeric powder with a little water to wash your teeth or massage the painful area.
